Jane Russell passed away last night at the age of 89. She was a hollywood legend, way ahead of her time, who held her own and more against Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Perfer Blondes. She also had one of the most controversial censorship battles when she starred in Howard Hughes' The Outlaw - her debut film, no less. What a way to start your career!
